WHAT’S THE JOB?

• Owning up to all aspects of Project Management and ensure timely roll-out within specified timelines. Oversee day-to-day activities of Team and provide support as necessary to ensure projects are completed within specified due dates.
• Interacting directly with the product managers, design teams and/or operational teams in order to understand their needs and issues.
• Vetting the product and design documents prior to implementation.
• Decide on the delivery approach and manage scope (scope definition, planning, verification and control) of all projects
• Budgeting and estimation of resources and time for each project delivery. Creating a robust plan and getting required approvals
• Keeps stakeholders updated with reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.
• Analyze and interpret the business requirements for technical systems.
• Monitors and maintains project and/or program website and database, and issue and risk tracking logs.
• Should have good technical experience programming background in Java, NodeJS, PHP, .NET etc.
• Should be able to do code reviews
• Single point of contact for all the project stakeholders on all the information regarding project delivery and own all aspects i.e, budget, timelines, quality, data, MIS.
• Ensuring uptime of the system while in production and operations and adhere to performance SLAs.
• Identify all risk elements within the project and regularly tracks the same. Prepare mitigation plans of all risk elements and keep all stakeholders updated.
• Assist and collaborate closely with all the stakeholders
• Follows Agile Development Techniques and Team Collaboration Tools.
• Work with the Human Resources Function to drive recruitment, employee engagement and performance management.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent related practical experience
• Strong project lead/management background, 5-10 years of experience
• The role requires exceptional communication skills and an ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members, and other departments involved.
• Experience in applying a variety of project management methodologies where appropriate, in particular, Agile (Scrum). Formal accreditations are desirable
• Solid documentation experience on product workings, workflows etc.
• Excellent planning and organization skills
• Solid understanding of project roles & activities, both non-technical and technical, as required for successful delivery
• Exposure to the full project lifecycle and managing multiple projects/stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and empower team members to successfully deliver
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent related practical experience
